A video uses its style's credits for every started minute of your footage, at least 1: a 40-second reel is 1 minute, a 2½-minute talk is 3. You see the total before you start, and it's taken when the edit starts. Every edit includes 2 rounds of changes that don't use credits.

How credits work
Credits arrive every month
Your plan adds its credits the day it starts and again each time it renews. A look uses its credits for every started minute of your video, at least 1, and you see the total before you start.
Unused credits roll over for 1 month
After that they end, and your credits history shows a line saying so. Credits never disappear without a record.
Credits ending soonest are used first
So you don't lose credits you could have used. Top-up credits last as long as you have a plan.
Credits come back automatically
If an edit fails or arrives late, its credits come back on their own, with a line in your history saying why. You don't have to ask.
Changes don't use credits
Every edit includes 2 rounds of changes. If you need another round, it's 2 to 5 credits depending on the style.
Change plan any time
Moving to a bigger plan adds the extra credits straight away. Moving to a smaller plan starts at your next renewal, and the credits you have stay.
Cancel in one click
No calls, no forms, no offers to change your mind. Your plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for, and every credit, top-ups included, works until then. Any left on that day end with the plan.

Questions
Questions about credits
Can the credits a look uses change after I've started?
No. The total you see before you start, the look's credits for each started minute of your video, is what the edit uses, and it's taken once, when the edit starts. If we ever change how many credits a look uses, we'll tell you before it happens, and it never changes an edit you've already started.
Do unused credits roll over?
Yes, for 1 month. After that they end, and your credits history shows a line saying so. Credits that end soonest are always used first, so you don't lose credits you could have used.
Who can buy top-ups, and how long do they last?
Top-ups are for anyone with a plan, when a month needs a little more. They cost more per credit than any plan, so if you top up most months a bigger plan is better value. They last as long as you have a plan and don't end with the month. If you cancel, they work until your plan ends, like your other credits; any left on that day end with it, and your history shows a line for them.
What happens if an edit fails or is late?
Its credits come back automatically. You'll see a line in your credits history saying why, and you don't need to ask. If we can't use your file, for example it has no sound, we tell you what's wrong and give you time to send a new one; if you don't, the credits come back too.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Nothing is lost. On the same page where you start the edit, you can add a top-up or move to a bigger plan, and your upload keeps going while you decide.
Do changes use credits?
Not the first 2 rounds on every edit. An extra round uses 2 credits for Clean Edit, 2 credits for Captions, 3 credits for Branded, 5 credits for Ad-Ready. A different look or new footage is a new edit, and uses that look's credits.
What happens when I change plan?
Moving to a bigger plan adds the extra credits straight away and the new price starts at your next renewal. Moving to a smaller plan starts at your next renewal, and the credits you already have stay.
How do I cancel?
One click on your account page. No calls, no forms and no offers to change your mind. Your plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for and you can use your credits until then. Changed your mind? Resume it with one click, too.
Where can I see what happened to my credits?
In your credits history. Every line is written in plain words: credits added, the edit that used them, credits that came back and why, and credits that ended. Each line shows your balance after it.
